Alicia Gardiner cleared of assault charges
Australian actress Alicia Gardiner, known for 'Offspring', has been cleared of assault charges stemming from a protest at Melbourne's Parliament House. While initially accused of assaulting a woman, the court dropped these charges. Gardiner was instead fined $500 without conviction for refusing to vacate the premises when asked by authorities.
