Villagers set fire to househod items of woman arrested for boy's murder
A woman was arrested for allegedly killing an eight-year-old boy in Ganjam, driven by a belief that his parents were responsible for her son's death last year through witchcraft. In a retaliatory act, villagers set fire to the accused's belongings while her family was absent. Police are investigating both incidents and have increased patrolling.
