Owen Filer, who is 107 years old, believes that having fish and chips regularly contributes to his long life. He served in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers during World War Two and celebrated his birthday recently. Filer maintains a daily routine that includes dressing neatly and living purposefully. Although he recalls a difficult childhood, he still remains grounded and humble about his age.
