A diver found a $3 million gold cross in a Spanish shipwreck

In 1975, a renowned gold and emerald cross mysteriously disappeared from a Bermuda museum. Having been retrieved from a wreck of a sixteenth-century Spanish galleon, this priceless artifact led investigators to suspect insider involvement. For decades, however, no substantial evidence surfaced, keeping the original cross lost. Today, a plastic replica marks the site, symbolising the enduring enigma of the unsolved heist.
