Assam polls: BJP eyes 11 of 13 Barak seats, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma to lead last leg of campaign from today
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is actively campaigning for the BJP and its allies. He expressed confidence in winning many assembly seats in Barak Valley and North Cachar Hills. Plans include increasing tribal council seats and bifurcating Dima Hasao. Sarma will lead a Jan Ashirwad Yatra and other rallies across the state.
