BMC faces revenue gap as units on Idco plots fail to pay up
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation is facing a significant revenue shortfall. Institutions on Idco land owe nearly seventy crore rupees in holding tax. Despite repeated reminders and assurances, payments have not been made. Educational institutions alone account for thirty-two crore rupees of the outstanding dues. This non-payment impacts urban services and infrastructure development.
