Delhi power tariff may go up as Rs 38k cr recovery plan on anvil
Delhi's power tariffs are poised for an increase from April 1, marking the first hike in over a decade. The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) is expected to order the recovery of over Rs 38,500 crore in accumulated regulatory assets. This will be achieved through a higher surcharge on power bills, with recovery planned over seven years.
