Dum Maro Dum was originally meant for Lata Di and Usha Uthup

Veteran actress Zeenat Aman paid a heartfelt tribute to late singer Asha Bhosle, sharing a nostalgic behind-the-scenes memory of the iconic song 'Dum Maro Dum' from 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' (1971). In an emotional Instagram post, she revealed the song was originally planned as a duet for Lata Mangeshkar and Usha Uthup, but composer RD Burman chose Asha Bhosle’s distinctive voice instead.
