A Bengaluru couple's dream honeymoon to Europe was shattered after their MakeMyTrip package fell apart due to visa assistance issues. The travel giant was ordered by a consumer commission to refund the entire Rs 4.9 lakh package, plus interest and costs. The commission found MakeMyTrip liable for deficient service in aiding the visa application, which was ultimately rejected by the embassy.
