MDM cooks, helpers protest salary delay, demand increase in honorarium
Midday meal cooks-cum-helpers in Bhubaneswar are protesting for the third day, demanding three months of pending wages and a hike in their honorarium. The workers, who have not received regular income, are also seeking timely monthly payments and an increased retirement age. The state government is reportedly reviewing their issues.
