Model, banker, drug mule? Beauty pageant runner-up held with Rs 11.82 crore hydroponic weed at Mumbai airport
A 29-year-old relationship manager and beauty contest runner-up was arrested for smuggling 11.824 kg of hydroponic weed worth Rs 11.82 crore from Bangkok. She claims a new acquaintance persuaded her to carry a bag, asserting her unawareness of its illegal contents. Customs officials discovered the contraband concealed in her luggage.
