Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train section to open in 2027; 80% project complete: Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw
The first phase of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train, from Surat to Bilimora, is slated for a 2027 inauguration, with nearly 80% of the project complete. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw also announced the inauguration of India's third semiconductor plant today, a significant milestone after decades of effort. Additionally, infrastructure upgrades for Ahmedabad's railway facilities, including underpasses and station redevelopment, were highlighted.
