Nicolas Cage changes his official name to avoid being a ‘clown cousin’
Actor Nicolas Cage has officially changed his name to Nicolas Cage. He was previously known as Nicolas Kim Coppola. The actor chose to be the patriarch of his own Cage line. He felt it was better than being a distant relative of the Coppola family. Cage's name was inspired by comic books.
