Pune woman dies after tree falls on her, 82 incidents reported in a day
A 60-year-old flower vendor tragically died in Pune after a tree collapsed on her during a sudden, heavy downpour. She had sought shelter under the tree, which was already leaning, when strong winds uprooted it. The incident, which also damaged a fruit cart, occurred amidst 84 tree fall distress calls received by the city's fire brigade.
