Ranbir Kapoor: 'Ramayana' is six hours long, 'like Lord of the Rings'
In a newest update, Ranbir Kapoor has compared Nitesh Tiwari’s 'Ramayana' to the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy, revealing a combined six-hour runtime for the two-part saga. Produced by Namit Malhotra with a staggering Rs 4,000 crore (USD 500 million) budget, the film features an ensemble cast of Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol. Kapoor confirmed that filming for Part 2 is already halfway complete, ensuring the epic remains on track for its Diwali 2026 and 2027 releases. With a historic AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer musical score, Ramayana is positioned as India’s ultimate cinematic spectacle.
