Retired IFS officer withdraws plea seeking to quash MOEF report on Magsaysay awardee Sanjiv Chaturvedi's harassment
After much deliberation, retired IFS officer M L Rajavanshi requested the Punjab and Haryana High Court to dismiss his earlier challenge to a report from the Union Ministry. This report, which implicated several high-ranking officials in the harassment of whistleblower Sanjiv Chaturvedi, also brought to light significant financial discrepancies. Rajavanshi found himself named among those involved in plantation irregularities.
