Sobo doctor paid money to influence Delhi cop executing warrant against her
A Mumbai doctor allegedly paid nearly Rs 4 lakh to an impersonator to pose as a senior Union Home Ministry official and thwart police action in a cheque bounce case. The accused, Dr. Asmita Sarang, is charged with falsely personating a public servant and cheating. The impersonator, Mohammed Tariq Pathan, reportedly made threatening calls to a Delhi Police constable attempting to serve a warrant against Sarang.
