Tamil Nadu assembly polls: Smaller allies to contest in BJP or AIADMk symbol
As AIADMK's seat-sharing talks near completion, allies BJP and AIADMK are encouraging smaller parties to contest under their symbols. Puthiya Needhi Katchi and Puratchi Bharatham are likely to use the BJP's lotus symbol, while Tamizhaga Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam may contest under AIADMK's symbol. IJK and Tamil Maanila Congress, however, prefer their own party symbols.
