The Thane-Vadape highway widening project is nearing completion with 95% of work finished. Authorities aim for a September-end deadline to finish the remaining widening tasks. Motorists still face potholes and congestion, especially around Mankoli and Pimplas areas. Key pending works include the Pimplas railway overbridge and Mankoli underpass. Completion of these elements will significantly reduce traffic congestion on the corridor.
