Two days after UP prison freed gangster Ravi Kana without nod, jail superintendent suspended for negligence
Banda jail superintendent Vikram Singh Yadav has been suspended following the release of gangster Ravi Kana without a court order. A Noida court issued a show-cause notice to Yadav after Kana, a scrap tycoon accused of extortion, was freed from Banda jail on January 29, despite a pending B-warrant. Police have launched a manhunt for Kana.
