Zomi org extends mourning for Valte till Mar 31; demands justice
Zomi National Mourning continues through March 31 for Thanlon MLA Vungzagin Valte, who died on February 21. The funeral has been postponed as the community calls for justice for Valte and victims of Manipur's ethnic violence. Valte's body has been at Churachandpur district hospital since February 24. All celebrations are suspended, with exceptions only for scheduled marriages and religious services.
